Bombers lost despite out-hitting Admirals five to four. Admirals took an early lead in the first inning. Hendershot singled on a 1-0 count in the first inning, scoring one run. Admirals scored five runs in the third inning. Admirals’s big inning was driven by a fielder’s choice by Scheer, a groundout , and a wild pitch.
Marshall earned the win for Admirals. He went six innings, giving up two runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Jones took the loss for Bombers. He pitched three innings, giving up seven runs, three hits, and striking out two. Reichel, Maleski, Fischer, Jones, and Vodopivec each collected one hit to lead Bombers.
Falcons Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Cavaliers
Falcons and Cavaliers traded the lead back-and-forth on Wednesday, but eventually Falcons prevailed 17-7. Falcons took the lead for good in the fourth inning. The game was tied at seven with Falcons batting in the bottom of the fourth when Gentry doubled off of Hanssen, driving in one run.
Falcons collected 14 hits and Cavaliers had four in the high-scoring affair

Asher started the game for Cavaliers. He tossed one and one-third innings, surrendering five runs, two hits, and striking out one. Diters started the game for Falcons. He pitched three and a third innings, allowing seven runs, three hits, and striking out three.
Ellis, Graham, Cummings, McGrath, and Bailey each collected multiple hits for Falcons. Cummings and Graham each drove in three runs to lead Falcons.
Kuijsten led Cavaliers with three runs batted in. He went 3-for-3 on the day.
Bombers Falls To Cavaliers After Fifth Inning Score
Wednesday’s game against Cavaliers was a heartbreaker for Bombers, as they lost the lead late in a 6-2 defeat. Cavaliers trailed 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning when Young tripled off of van Berkel, driving in two runs.
Cavaliers captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Cavaliers.
Cavaliers scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Cavaliers came thanks to a single by Dirks, a single by Young, and a single by Thompson.
M Joossens earned the win for Cavaliers. He went seven innings, surrendering two runs, four hits, and striking out three. van Berkel took the loss for Bombers. He threw six innings, allowing six runs, nine hits, and striking out five.
Reichel, Lacy, Fischer, and Tipps each managed one hit to lead Bombers.
Cavaliers collected nine hits. Young and Wicklert each collected multiple hits for Cavaliers. Cavaliers was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Lewis made the most plays with eight.
